Evoke has been designed for patients who suffer from OA (mild to severe osteoarthritis), torn meniscus, or for people requiring load reduction and redistribution.
What brace do you suggest for ligament deficient knees?
Provoke has been designed for patients who suffer from crossed ligaments (Torn ACL, MCL, LCL), torn medicus or knee instability
What is the weight of an average Evoke™ knee brace?
The weight is around 8.5 oz. This is around 50% lighter than the average OA double upright hinged knee braces on the market.
What is the weight of an average Provoke™ knee brace?
The weight is around 11.5 oz This is around 40% lighter than the average ligament double upright hinged knee braces on the market.

What is the weight limit on the devices?
Our braces are made to handle up to 400lbs (181.4kg).
My patient recently had a full knee replacement, what is the recommended brace?
We recommend fitting your patient with an Evoke™ brace, as it provides unloading and stabilization.
What kind of digital scanners are recommended?
Our recommendation is to use either of these options: iPhone/iPad, TechMed BodyScanner, Insignia or Vorum.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
Generally we can ship anywhere, depending on the situation. Email production@osskin.com to determine if your case fills our criteria.
How much do the braces cost for my clinic?

How do I order replacement parts for my patients?
For Canadian clinics:
Please fill out the replacement parts order form and send to OrtoPed.
USA and part of the Hanger network:
Fill out the replacement parts order form using the product codes in the form, and submit the form via HangerDirect and email the same order form to production@osskin.com.
USA and not part of the Hanger network:

What kind of brace do you recommend for someone with a hyper extension of the knee, post quad repair and a recent total knee replacement?
In this particular scenario, we recommend the Provoke™ PCL/CI.
Is the Evoke™ OA knee brace PDAC approved? If so, what coding is recommended for this brace?
This applies only for USA.
The suggest coding is: L-Code 1846, which does not require PDAC approval.
What should I do if I want to send a fiberglass cast?
Please don’t send a fiberglass cast.
The reason being is that there may be a high likelihood that it may shatter or get lost during transit. Our recommendation would be to scan the cast with the landmarks clearly placed.
